The M1911 is a single action semiautomatic pistol, magazine fed, operated by direct recoil .45 ACP caliber. It was the standard US Army from 1911 to 1985. It was widely used in World War I, World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. The M1911 is still carried by some US forces.

In 1924 quietly it changed its shape to facilitate empuñamiento. In this configuration it remained in use until 1985 and even today is still used because of its great power of detention despite having more advanced models like the Glock 21, the SIG P220, H & K MK 23 and the H & K USP. The gun manufacturer company Colt produces a commercial version of the M1911 known as the Colt Government.

Until the year 1940 was officially designated M1911 Semi-Automatic Pistol Caliber .45, M1911. From 1924 the Calibre Automatic Pistol modernized .45 pistols were designated M1911A1. During the Vietnam War designation change to Automatic M1911A1 .45 caliber pistol.

In total, the United States acquired around 2.7 million M1911 and M1911A1 pistols through military contracts during its service life. The M1911 was replaced as a weapon of official position of the United States for the M9 Beretta pistol during the decade of the 90's. However, M1911 and variants continue production because of its popularity. Some modernized variants of the M1911 is still in use by some units of Special Forces, Navy and Marine Corps North American.

At first glance we can see that SRC wanted to give an air renovated to its 1911, as it has done with their guns 2nd generation. The metal body has a perfect finished and a polished black. C022 charger consists of a solid piece in which the CO2 bottle is visible to the player. We are looking forward to see more about this new SR-1911.
