EVERYTHING THAT YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT GLOCK BUT SHOULD

The founder of Glock, engineer Gaston Glock, didn’t have any experience in the design or manufacturing of firearms when he developed the prototype of his first pistol, the Glock 17.

However, he had a great deal of experience in advanced synthetic polymers. This knowledge as well as that of the team he formed with the leading experts in pistols in Europe gave rise to a model that combined the use of synthetic materials and modern manufacturing technologies: the Glock 17.

With this he won the Austrian Armed Forces tender to replace the Walther P38 from the Second World War. And it was only a matter of time before it got into the hands of the top police and military special forces around the world.
