Do you know what happened in Haditha?

The Battle of Haditha was a battle fought between US forces and Ansar al-Sunna in early August 2005 on the outskirts of town called Haditha, Iraq. This place was one of those who remained under the control of the insurgency in the Euphrates River valley in 2005.

The first day of battles, a unit of snipers United States Marine Corps (USMC), composed of six men, was attacked and destroyed by a large contingent of insurgent forces. The six men were found dead after this battle.

Two days after this incident, the Marines carried out the operation Quick Strike (Operation Quick Strike) to attack and reduce the insurgent presence in Haditha. The same day, an amphibious assault vehicle was destroyed by a localized roadside, killing 15 marines killed 16 aboard pump.
